This is a room transmitter that basicaly transmits audio that it can hear onto a wideband radio frequency.

The tuning range is roughly between 88-108 mhz
It works up to around 200 meters line of sight.
You can receive its audio using a car stereo or similar radio receiver.It is ideal for use as a baby monitor or listening to wildlife etc when being in the area would disturb the animals. I was amazed to here the noises that hedgehogs make at night using this device.

The microphone has excellent capabilities and a dripping tap in the same room sounds very loud.
There is no way to record using this device it is a transmitter only.
